The Syntax parser is an essential part of the Javascript engine (Often regarded as the JS engine itself), and as you might have guessed, the syntax parser reads the Javascript source code to determine if the grammar is correct or not.

It is important to understand that the first Javascript engines were mere interpreters between machine and source code. Javascript has since evolved into something more flexible and fault tolerant. The syntax parser has become more intelligent over the years and can now make accurate guesses and understand what the user is trying to do.

Hope this answers your question.
