Control plane basing on per-router control:

• Control panel is used to exchange or forwarding of the tables.

• In control panel basing on per-router control, in each and every router the routing algorithm runs and contains the routing function and forwarding tables.

Monolithically:

• Each router has routing component which helps in communicating with the other routers routing components to compute the value of the forwarding table.

• Individual routing algorithm components interact in the control panel individually. So the network control and data planes are implemented monolithically in per-router control.
