The NOR gate is a digital logic circuit, that implements logical NOR. It is gotten from the combination of the NOT and the OR gate, it is also referred to as the Not OR, which simply means the reversal of the OR gate gives you the input of the NOR gate. The NOR gate is used in the construction of gates similar to the AND gate. It gives an output of 1 only if both inputs are 0, hence it gives a high output only when inputs are low. Eg.
