RISC has more instructions per program so it needs more registers to store them. Since a long word is broken down and fetched more frequently, you’ll need to store the broken down words in registers.

There’s more space in available in RISC as it doesn’t need a microprocessor to understand complex instructions.

A program compiled for the RISC needs larger space.
