The von Neumann architecture has three essential components working together in the form of computer:
• Input or output device enable the user to communicate with the computer by following commands and displaying the results.
• Memory helps in saving the information for processing of computer along with programs or instructions specifying steps needed for completion of particular task.
• CPU is central processing unit that carries steps of the programs for processing the data.
The three components are connected with one another making use of busses. Busses are collection of wires that has the capacity of carrying information in the form of electronic signals.
