Characteristics of Slotted ALOHA:
• Slotted ALOHA divides the time into slots and allows the active nodes to send the data continuously at the maximum rate, R bits per second.
• If only one node has data to transmit, throughput of that node will be R bps because complete transmission rate R can be used by that node only.
• If M nodes have data to transmit, the average transmission rate over one time slot is nearly R/M, since only one node can successfully transmit a frame in one-time slot.
