Circular wait can be described as a set of waiting processes, where each process waits for resource which is held by another process waiting for the first process resource. This can be represented as:

P = { p1, P2, P3, ........Pn } where P1, waits for P2, and P2 waits for P3, and similarly all the way till Pn, and Pn waits for P1.
