The internet protocol, usually known as IP is a standard set protocol that defines the sending of data from device to device over the internet. This IP (protocol) is used along with other protocols such as;

- HTTP
- TLS (This protocol though is a cryptographic protocol, and is used for secure data transmission across the internet, it provides a secure connection over the internet for thing like web, email, browsers etc).
